Section 1. (a) Every pedestrian crossing a roadway at any. :!

the highest degree of care to avoid colliding with any pedestrian
upon any roadway, and shall give warning by sounding the horn when
necessary and shall exercise proper precaution on observing any �
child or any confused or incapacitated person upon a roadway.
Section 2. 'his ordinance shall be in force and effect

AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE OF CROSSWALKS BETWEEN STREETS IN
THIS CITY BY PEDESTRIANS AND PROVIDING A-PENALTY FOR VIOLATION
THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pedestrians shall move, whenever practibable,
upon the right half of cross-walks.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
Section 3. ,anyone violating any of the terms of this
ordinance shall be"deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.

Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and effect fromll
