It shall be the duty of the rhiexf of Police., i or any policemen designated by him, to make regular collections of the money deposited in said parming meters!-by removing from th4 parking meters the sealed containers therein containing this coins deposited in said meters, and to deliver such sealed containers with the seal.e unbroken to the 6hief of Police who shall count the coins contained therein and deposit such funds with the City Treasurer. y S ction 12. The coins deposited in oarking meters shall be deposited in the Traffic and Vehicle Fund and shall be used to def ,ay expenses of proper regulation of traffic upon the public streets, Alleys and highways of the ity of Jefferson, and to provide for the cost " of supervision, regulation and control of the narking of vehicle in parking metePezones, and to cover the cosy,; of purchase, super- vision., protection, inspections installation, operation, mainten- ance, control and use of the parking meters. Section 13. "ny person who shall violate or fail to comply with any of the provisions of this ordinance, or who shall counsel &Ed or abet any such violation or failure to comply with the pro- visions of this ordinance, shall be deemed guilty of a middemeanor and shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $100.00 or by imprison- ment not to exceed ninety 490) days, either or both penalties to be imposed atthe discretion of the court. Sextion 14. Notling in this ordinance shallbe construed ash prohibiting the City of Jefferson from providing for bus stops, fo taxicab stands and other matters of a similar nature, including the loading or unloading of trucksm vans or other commercial vehicles. If any section or provision of this ordinance ' or parts thereof, shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional shall not affesi the validity of the ordinance as a w',ole or of ani �I other section of provision thereof. �j Section lei.
