I ( BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO',1NCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, � MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS: 'I I Section 1. Careless and Reckless Driving. It is unlawful for any person to drive a motor vehicle on the stroots, alloys or public highways of this city in a careless and reckless manner. Careless and reckless is defined as such a manner as to indicate a willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property Section 2. Any person violating any of the terms of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a middemeanor. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect froma nd after its' passage and approval. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Leaving the Scene of Accident. It is unlawful for any person, while driving a motor vehicle on the streets, alleys or public highways of this city, knowing that an injury has been caused to a person or damage has been caused to property to fail to stop said motor vehicle and give his Name, residence (including street numberm citym county and state) license plate number and drivers license number, fi any, to the injured party or to a police officer. If no police officer is within the vicinity the aforementioned information shall be reported at the police station of the City of Jefferson within one hour from the occur- enee of any such damage or accident. !I Section A Lion �ry. ny person violating any of the terms of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
