I BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS; Section 1. Vehicles Meeting. A driver of a motor vehicle on the streets, alleys or public highways of this city meeting another vehicle coming from the opposite direction on the same street, alley or public highway shall turn to -t�ye right of the center of the roadway so as to pass such vehicle without inter- ference. Section 2. Any person violating any of the terms of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. Section 3. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS; Section 1. Passing other vehicles. An operator or driver of a vehicle overtaking another vehicle going in the same directio and desiring to pass thesame shall pass to the left of the vehicl so overtaken, provided that the -way ahead is clear of approaching traffic, but if the roadway is not clear he shall het pass unless the width of the roadway is sufficient to a1,1ow his vehicle to pass to the right of the center thereof in the direction in which j his vehicle is moving; and provided further, that no operator or driver shall pass a vehicle from the rear at the top of a hill or II on a curve where the view ahead is in anyway obscured or while the vehicle is crossing an intersecting street.
