AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE TURNING OF A MOTOR VEHICLE AT INTTR-
SECTTONS ON THE STREETS, ALLEYS AND PUBLIC HI1HWA7,e OF THIS CITY
II AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE TT CRDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Turning at intersections. The driver of a
vehicle intending to turn at an intersection shall do so as follows�
ra) both the approach for a right turn and a right turn shall be
made as close as practicable to the right-hand curb or edge of the
roadway. (b) Approach for a left turn shall be made in that portion
of the right half of the roadway nearest the center line thereof,
and after entering the intersection the left turn shall be made
so as to leave the intersection to the right of the center line
of the roadway being entered.
Section 2. Any person. violating any of the terms of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a middemennor.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.

AN OPERATOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE ON THE STREETS,, ALLEYS AND PUBLIC
HIC7HWAYS. OF THIS CITY AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Hand signals. The driver of a motor vehicle on
the streets, alleys or public highways of this city shall not de-
crease the speed of or turn a motor vehicle from a direct course
. or move right or left upon the roadway unless and until such
(, movement can be made with reasonable safety and then only after the .
; giving of an appropriate signal in the manner herein provided.

(1 ) An operator or driver when stopping, or when checking
the speed of his vehicle, if the movement, of other vehicles may be

the rear of the vehicle.
