AN ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE OPERATOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE ON THE
STREETS, ALLEYS OR PUBLIC HIGHWAYS OF THIS CITY FROM USING HAND
SIGNALS.,
BE IT ORDAINED BY TI•IE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Hand signals unnecessary when. If a motor vehi le
is equipped with a mechanical or electriesl signaling device, wh ch
will display a signal that '.s plainly visible from the rear and
from the f ront of said vehicle , so that the intention of the driv r
to slow, stop, turn right or turn left is clearly indicated, the
signals with the hand and arm required bir the proceeding section
need not be given.
Section 2. 'his ordinance shall be in force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATIN r
FROM AN ALLEY ONTO STREETS OR PUBLIC HIGHWAYS OF THIS CITY AND
PROVIDING A PENALTY. .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOW°.?; .
Section 1. Emerging from alleys. No vehicle shall be dri 7en
from an alley onto a street or public highway, unless the street
or public highway is sufficiently free from approacEing vehicles
to permit such vehicle to enter the street or public highway
without dagger of collision.
Section 2. Any person violating any of the terms of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.
Section 3. 'this ordinance shall be in force and effect
from and after its- passagn and approval. II
