SECTION 1. That there is hereby levied and assessed the
following rate on !1.11 real estate and �ersolal property within
the limits if the pity of Jefferson, ZS ssouri , not exempt from
taxation by the constitution or the laws of the State of 1'`'ilssouri , as
as shown by the assessment book of the City of Jefferson, 11 ssouri o
for the year 19360 and od 21.11 Merchants and 11anufacturers state-
ments, rapde as provided by law.
First- For the purpose of paying all current expenses of the
City of Jefferson, Mlssohri , for the fiscal year, the sum of
60 cents on the one hundred dollar valuation .
Second,- For the purpose of paying the interest on the out-
st• nding bonds of the City of Jefferson, 11 ssouri , and for the
purpose of creating a sinking fund to retire the outst nding
bonds of the City of Jefferson , M:ssouri, the sum of 25 cents
on the one hundred do11pr valuation.
Third,- For the purpose of establishing and maintaining a, free 1r:
public library in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the. sum of
5 cents on the one hundred dollar valuation.
SECTION 2• It shell be the duty of the City Clerk to cause to
be extended in the appropriate columns, ol)posite each item of the
taxable property on the assessment book, a.s returned by the
Assessor of the City of Jefferson, Mlssouri , and corrected by
the County Board of Equiliza,tion, the amount of taxes required to
be paid by each person assessed as ---:rovided by Section 1 of this
ordinance.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
tlis ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approvil.

SECTION 1.
It s hereby declared unlawful for zany person to park an automobilef
;. truck, wagon, or other vehicle along the north side of State Street
commencing at a point on the curbing -:t the northe-,st corner of the
intersection of State Street and Laff'iyette Street and running in a
Westerly direction to the intersection of State Street and I::arshall
Street.
