Dunklin Street, and it appezring to the City Council th!it the
property o,.,,,,ner or owners owning' the abutting property liable for
the cost of said improvement bets or have been duly notified accord-
ing to law , - nd that property owner or owners has or have failed
and refused to construct said sidewalk sdirected by the City of
Jefferson, under the power and authority given it by its charter and,
ordinanciles . Therefore, it is hereby provided that in accordance
with the plans and specifications submitted by the City Engineer
and filed eith the City 'lerk, that a cement concrete sidewalk be
constructed in front of the abutting property as set put above,
and th,-,t the total cost cf theafo -esaid shall be charged and levied
as a special assessment agiinst the real estate abutting and fronting
on said contemplated iriprovenent ,, a.nd special tax bills shall be
issued therefor, rs provided in the City Charter and of the Revised
Ordinance of the City of Jefferson, Missouri , 1925, and of the
Revised Statues of the State of Missouri , 1929, and amendments
thereto.
SF.CTICN 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and i nstructed to
advertise for bids for this ini)rovenent.
SECTION 3. This Crdinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.
