HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD04144 310 property owner ar owners owning the abutting property liable for the coat of said improvement h- s or have been dy y notified according to law, and that property owner or owners has or have failed and refused to construct said sidewalk as directed by the City of Jefferson, under the power and authority guven it by its charter and ordinances. Therefore it is hereby provided that in accordance with thela plans and specifica- tions submitted by the City Engineer and f iled with the City Clerk, that a cement concrete sidewalk be consttucted in front of the abutt- ing property a.s set out above, and that the total cost of the afore- said, shall be charged 4nd levied as a special assessment against the real estate abutting and fronting on said contemplated improvement, and special tax bills shall be issued therefor, as provided in the City C:iarter and of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1925, end of the Revised Statues of the State of Missouri, 1929, and amendments thereto. SECTION 2.. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and instructed to advertise for bids for this improvement; . &ACTION 3.
