Each section of this ordinance and each past of each sec-
tion hereof is hereby declared to be an independent section or part
of section, and the holding of any section or part thereof to be un-
constitutional, vb id, illegal, ineffective or contrary to the pro-
visions of the Cli^•rter of the City of Jefferscii City, Missouri, or
the Amendments thereto, or the laws of the State of Missouri , for
any reason , shall not effect any other section or part of section
of this ordinance.
SECTION 14.
ACCEPTANCE 01' 1+R tWCH I SE.
Ttilis grant is made upon the express condition th,,t the com-

of the City a written acceptance of the same, -ind when so accepted
by the company sh-11 constitute a, contract between the City and the
Company for all the uses, services and purposes herein set forth;
^.nd the company, by its a.cceptaned of this ordinance binds itself
to provide the necessary motor buses to establish , operate and
maintain the transportation service contemplated in this ordinance,
beginning not later ,hab sixty (60) days from the date of the accep-
tance of this ordinance by the company, unless such time shall be
extended by the City Council, and continuing without subst.,Intia.l .
interruption except for causes beyond the control of the dompany,
until the ex»ir.- Lion of the term of the grant hereof.
If the company shall fail tc file s�-)•id written acceptance
within the time herein specified , this grant, together with any
ri~hts or liabilities arising out of the proposal heretofore r1a.de
for the furnishing of an adequate Motor bus transportation ser vice
in the city, sh,-.111 be void and of no effect.
SECTION 15.
EFFECTIVE DATE .
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect fromm and
after its pa.ssa:ge and approval and its acceptance by the cpripany.
