A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE
CITY'S PARTICIPATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF
HANDLEY-EDERVILLE ROAD FROM S.H. 121 TO S.H. 183.
WHEREAS, the Intermadal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991 authorized funding
for certain roadway improvements; and
WHEREAS, the improvement of Handley-Ederville Road from S.H. 121 to S.H. 1$3 was a
project authorized for funding on September 28, 1.993, by Texas Transportation Commission
Minute Order 102788; and
WHEREAS, the Texas Department has submitted to the City of Richland Hills, Texas, an
agreement outlining responsibilities for the project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Richland Hills, Texas, desires to accept the terms
of the agreement and authorize participation in the project as stated therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS:
• THAT, the City Council hereby accepts the provisions of the agreement dated "03/09J94,"
providing for roadway improvements at Handley-Ederville Road from S.H. 121 to S.H. 183, and
that participation by the City of Richland Hills in the development of the improvements is hereby
authorized.
BE it further resolved that the City Council hereby authorizes this resolution to be attached to
the aforesaid agreement as "Exhibit B" demonstrating the City's commitment to the project.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND
HILLS, TEXAS, MEETING IN REGULAR SESSION THIS 2nd DAY OF _March
