A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS,
APPROVING THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
ACQUIRED AT A DELINQUENT TAX FORECLOSURE SALE.
WHEREAS, the City of Richland Hills, Texas, for itself and the use and benefit
of the Birdville Independent School District, and Tarrant County, acquired title to a
certain tract of real estate at a sheriff's sale held on the 7th day of November,
1989, in Cause No. L-4298, Birdville Independent School District vs. Mark
Zimmerman; and
WHEREAS, Section 34.05 (a), Texas Property Tax Code, authorizes the City of
Richland Hills, by and through its Mayor, to resell the property; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Richland Hills and its
citizens to return this property to a productive use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Mayor of the City of Richland Hills, Texas, is authorized to sell, convey
• and transfer that certain tract of real estate acquired at the above-described tax
sale as authorized by Section 34.05, Texas Property Tax Code, and that the
proceeds of the sale shall be distributed as provided by Section 34.06, Texas
Property Tax Code.
