A RESOLUTION INDICATING ACCEPTANCE BY THE
CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, OF THE
CURRENTLY PAVED PORTION OF LAVON DRIVE AND
MARY BOAZ LANE LOCATED IN THE RICHLAND HILLS
SOUTH, SECTION 3, ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
RICHLAND HII.LS, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, a plat was filed and recorded in Volume 388-7, Page 59, et seq, of the
Tarrant County Plat Records, in June of 1956, covering the "Richland Hills South, Section 3"
Addition to the City of Richland Hills, Texas; and
WHEREAS, said plat contained language dedicating the streets, avenues, easements and
public ways as shown on said plat to the use and benefit of the public; and
WHEREAS, the owners of certain property abutting and fronting upon Lavon Drive have
caused certain portions of said street to be paved in order to provide access to their property; and
WHERE, the City Council of the City of Richland Hills, Texas, by this resolution desires
to accept the paved portions of Lavon Drive and Mary Boaz Lane described hereinbelow.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS:
That the City Council of the City of Richland Hills, hereby accepts the dedication as
shown on the plat recorded at Volume 388-7, Page 59, et seq, of the Plat Records, Tarrant
County, Texas, of the following paved portions of Lavon Drive and Mary Boaz Lane located
within the City of Richland Hills, Tarrant County, Texas, to-wit:
That portion of Lavon Drive beginning at the western lot line of Lot 15, Block 2
of the Richland Hills South, Section 3 Addition, extending eastward to the eastern
lot line of Lot 1, Block 16 of the Richland Hills South Section 3 Addition to the
City of Richland Hills, Texas, and that portion of Mary Boaz Lane adjacent to and
in between Lot 12, Block 2, Richland Hills South, Section 3 Addition and Lot 8,
Block 14, Richland Hills South, Section 3 Addition to the City of Richland Hills,
Texas.
