WHEREAS, a fireworks display has been scheduled for July 4, 1994,
to be held at Mountasia, located on Grapevine Highway in North
Richland Hills; and
WHEREAS, the organizers of this display have requested financial
assistance from the City of Richland Hills to defray a portion of
the cost of such event; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Richland Hills, hereby
finds that a public purpose will be served by the holding of such
a fireworks display; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Richland Hills, Texas,
desires to make available $500.00 in financial assistance to defray
a portion of the cost of such fireworks display; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Richland Hills, Texas,
further desires to delegate to its City Manager the authority to
contribute the amount of $500.00 from the City of Richland Hills,
Texas, for said display.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS:
That the City Manager of the City of Richland Hills, Texas, is
hereby authorized to contribute $500.00 in City funds to help
defray a portion of the costs of the fireworks display to be held
on July 4, 1994, at Mountasia, located on Grapevine Highway in
North Richland Hills.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Richland
Hills, Texas, by a vote of 5 ayes, 0 nays and 0
abstentions this 14th day of June, 1994.
