AN ORDIN.-SCE prohibiting the parking of automobi&es or other
motor vehicles a.t the curb from a point I8ca.ted at . the terminus
of State Street at its intersection with Lafayette Street near
the Missouri State Penitentiary running along said State Street
from siad point for a• d istance cf 187 feet w esterly along the
north side of State Street.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
:1S FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Hereafter it shall be unlawful for any person
vv�' to park an automobile on the north side of State Street for a
Jspace of 107 feet bsgihn±ng at thetbarminus of theabast end of
State Street near the Missouri State Penitentiary and proceeding
in a_ westerly direction along the north curb of State Street
for a space of 167 feet.
SECTION 29 Anyone violating the conditions of this
ordinance may be punished by a fine of not more than One
Hundred Do&lars,

COYGP.:LNY TO SELL THE WATERWORKS SYSTEM OF SAID COL3P ANY LOC'.TED
;LT THIPI CITY OF JEF.YEFSON, AND 'VICINITY, TO SAID CITY.
BE IT ORD-'.INED BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, LIISSOURI,

SECTION 1. Th•-t the amended proposal of Capital City
Water Company filed with the City Clerk of the city of Jefferson ,
Missouri , on ;tovember 7, 1938, said proposal offering to sell the
waterwhnks system of said corp-a ny loc�3.ted at the City of � ef'ferson
and vicinity,to said city, for the sum of $1,075,000, be and the
same is hereby accepted, provided, however, th, t said acceptance
shall not be effective finless the requisite ndmber of electors of
the City of Jefferson, Missouri , voting at a. special bond election
to be held in said City on December 7, 19389 shall authorize the
issuance of Waterworks ponds of said City in the principal amount
of $1,075,000 for thep purpose of providing funds to pay the
cost of sind waterviorks system.
"'EC ION 2. That this ordinance sba,11 be in full force
and effect from and -'ter its passage and approval.
