AN ORDININCE, providing for the widening o$ Hoefer Lane between
High Street and Water Street an additional twenty feet and finding
said improvement and widening to be eneessary, providin that con-
demnation suit be brought by the City Attorney against the owners
owning land adjacent to said Hoefer Lane.
BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY CO NCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS
FOLL OWS:
SECTION 1 . It is hereby deealred by the City Co,ineil to be
necessary for the public safety and welfare of pedestrians trav-
eling in and along Hofer's Lane to widen said street an additional
twenty feet.
SECTION 2. The City Attorney is hereby authorized and in-
structed to bring conde_imation suit agalnst owners of 1knd ad-
jacent to Hoffer lane between High Street and Water Street, and
said land so needed, and the owners thereof, is more particularly
described as follows:
TRACT 1 .
A part of Outlot 54 in the `ity of Jefferson.. Missouri, and
described as: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Water Street
and Hoefer Lane; thence South 4 de,,rees East (Magnetic) along and
with the east line of Hoefer Lane, ::42 feet; thence Sputh 59 degrees
