Registrars of the oity of Jefferson, and th9t said Board and the
members thereof be and it and they are hereby requested to proceed
with the holding of a registration of voters as in such cases re— +
quired under 1h Act of the Veneral •-ssembly of Missouri , i1pproved
May 12, 1933, and found in Laws of :i.Assouri , 1933, at pages 239 to
2499 inclusive.

To repeal Ordinance Number 3216 of the L'ity of Jefferson city, re-

thereof a new ordinance relating to the same subject matter.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COT0ON COUNCIL OF JEFFERSON CITY AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. hat ordinance number 3216 of the vity of Jefferson
City relating to Parks, Park hoard, Paric Fund, Taxa`Cion, be and the
same is hereby repealed and a new ordinance relating to the same sub-
Ject matter is he eby ordained in lieu thereof.
_'--------SECTION 2. ,here is hereby created a Park Board, consisting of
-� nine members.
SECTION 3. The Mayor of Jefferson ity shall, with the approval
of the common council, appoint a non-partisian board of nine directors
for the Park Boardo chosen from the citizens at large with refer-
ence to their fittness for such offices; and no member of the,=Ai-
cipal government shall be a member of said board.
f SECTION 4. Said directors shall hold office, one-third for one
year, one-third for two years, and one-third for three years from the
first of Rune following their appointment, and at their first regular
.., meeting shill cast lots for their respective terms: and annually

successors are appointed. The Mayor may, by and with the consent of
the Common council, remove any director for misconduct or neglect of

SECTION 5. vscancies on the board of directors, occasioned by
removal, resignation or otherwise, hhall be reported to the common
Council, and shall be filled in like manner as original appointments,
and no director shall reeeive compensation as such.
