BE IT ORDAINED BY TIT.' CITY CCIUYCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
FISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby levied and assessed the following
rate on all real estate and personal property within the limits
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, not exempt from taxation by
the constitution or the laws of the State of niissouri, as shown by
the assessment book of the City of Jefferson, I„issouri, for the
year 193$, and on all Merchants and 1.1anufacturers statements, made
as provided by law. ,
Firtt,- For the purpose of paying all current expenses of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the fiscal year, the sum of
60 cents on the one hundred dollar valuation.
S cond,- For the pthrpose of paying the interest on the outstand-
ifig bonds of the City of Jefferson, T.iissouri, and for the purpose
of creating a sinking fund to retire the outstanding bonds of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, the sim of�_cents on the one
hundred dollar valuation.
Third,- For the purpose of establishing and maintaining a free
public library in the City of Jefferson, i.Iissouri, the sum of
� 5 -cents on the one hundred dollar valuation.
SECTION 2. It shall be the duty of the City Clerk to cause to be
extended in the appropriate column' s opposite each item of the
taxable property on the assessment book , as returned by the Axx
Assessor of the City of Jefferson, A:isso uri, and corrected by the
County Board of Equalization, the amount of taxes required to be
paid by each person assessed as provided by Section 1. of this
ordinance.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of mrdinances in conflict with
this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.

BE IT ORDAINED DY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AZISSOUR
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the grade llne of the roadway of North Circle
Drive front the west property line of Iayselton Drive to the east
line of N st Circle Drive, in the Uity of Jefferson. Irli ssouri, be
and hereby is established as follows: P_eL-inning at the west pro-
perty line of Hayselton Drive, where the elevation of the grade
sha _1 be, 182.84.; thence on a uniform j-r-de 250 feet, where the i
elevation of.' the . rade shall be, 205: 51 thence 50 feet on a ver-
