Section I—Per!;d. ts. Any jv,�rson,, firi.,i (.-.ar corporation erecting
a sign shall first ol-:tnin a theref(:!r from the Electrical
Inspector and pay a fee as hereinafter prescribed. It shall he the

Section 2--- Requirements
.Ljl(- to all signs.ns. All signs
. shall be st'ructually strong and free froth hazard to pedestrians
and constructed of non-cc..,mbust-11;le materials. Such signs., if electri-
cal., shall conform to the Electrical Code and its amendments now or
hereafter i-aade.

hereafter erected over sidewalks shall meet the following require-
ments:
(a) They shirall be hung- at least, nine (9) feet above the wall-,

Section 4---- Roof_�uiqns. All signs hereafter erected above
the roof of anir building shall be place not less than two (2) feet
within the inner line of the fire walls of such'h building and shall
be so constructed that its bottom line shall be not more than thir-
teen (13) inches e- nd not less than eleven (11) inches above the top
of paraphet, blocking course , cornice or railings of said fire walls.,
and so that there shall be a clear space of not less than six (6)
feet between all upriZhtssupporting said sign, as well as br-.,tween
all br,,-ces thereof, and a clear space of not less than five (5) feet
between each end og said sign and any point on the fire wall or
edge of the roof a6jacent thereto and all framework and bracing
thereff shall be of Calv�n�.J.zed metal and strubturtl:`,steel and se-

installed after the adoption of this oreinance shall be !Ilaintai ed
in Eood repair and safe condition as directed hy the "lectrical
I"Spector.
Section 7-- Fees, The City of Jefferson., I,Tissouri., s,-.all re-
ceive the follo,.-,ri-ng fees for pernlits:
