AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF PINE STREET AND ADOPTING A
NEW NAME THEREFOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the present name of Pine Street in Wash-
ington Park, between Colorado Street and Oregon Street, be and here-
by is changed to the name of Pike Street, and that the latter name
be and hereby is adopted as the correct name of said street.

SECTION 2. his ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING TH'1 DATE HERETOFORE FIXED FOR THE COMPLETION
OF THn CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERS IN SEWER DISTRICT NO. 61 "A"
SECTION 1. That the time heretofore fixed and provided for the
completions of sewers in Sewer. District No. 61 "A", by Louis Wolff
be add the same is hereby extended for a period of sixty days from
the 12th day of 4'ugust 1940, said extention being granted to
contractor by reason of the fact that the necessary right of way
has not been secured.
SECTION 2. his ordinance shall be in full force and effect on
and after the date of its passage and approval.

#4350AN ORDINANCE ESTAB: IS�iTNG THE GRADE OF THE ROADWAY OF PIKE
STREET FROM THE EAST LINE OF MONTANA STREET WEST 4.35 FEET.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON
IdISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: '
SECTION 1 . That_the grade line of the roadway of Pike Street
from the east line of 14 ntana Street west 435 feet be and hereby is
established as follows: -Beginning at the center line of Pike Street
and Montana Street where the elevation of the grade shall be,
170.60; thence on a uniform grade 150 feet, where the elevation of
the grade shall be, 185.84; thence on a 200 foot vertical curve for a
distance of 200 feet where the elevation of th,:, grade shall be,
183.95; thence on a uniform grade for a distance . of 85 feet where the
elevation of the grade shall be 173.70.
$` SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict wi
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTIOHX 3. this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
