of Jefferson$ T,'issouri,) said Crandall' s Addition being also known
as "Lower Jefferson" , and changing and re-districting said part
lot froin a residential to a commercial district.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF T111R, C;1111Y OF jj!-,F1`ERSOv AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Hereafter the following described lot and parcel
of land may be used and occupied., built on and buildings constructed
for a commercial purpose, and shall be classified as and E district
as is now provided in the zoning ordinance of the city of Jefferson,
and said land is more particularly described, as follows, to wit:
Part of Lot 8 in Block 9 in Crandall' s Addition
to the City of Jefferson., I..4ssouri., ( said Crandall' s
Addition being also known as "Lower Jefferson") .
Feginning at the 1?orthwesterly corner of said Lot
thence Easterly alotig,. High Street 40 feet., thence
Southerly parallel with Brooks Street 198 feet and 9
inches to alley, thence Westerly along alley 40 feet to
Prooks Street, thence Yortherly along Prooks Street 198
feet and 9 inches to the place of beginning.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall cause a notice !l,*o be published
in the newspaper notifying interested parties of a hearing to be held
by the council on the matter of re-districting and re-zon(bng said lot
or parcel of ground.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and approval.
