AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE MONEY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the General
Revenue Fund the sum of $1396.50 for the purpose of paying the
Fabric Yire Hone Company for fire hose purchased July 7, 1941.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to draw a warrant in the
above amount in favor of the above Company at the time the hose is
received and approved b the Fire Chief or Assistant Fire thief..
Section 2. his ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE providing for a hospital zone to be established immediately
surrounding the neighborhood of St. Mary's Hospital, providing that no
business establishment, amusement place, or any other person, firm or
corporation, may operate in said zone without first having obtained a
permit from the City council, and establishing a zone of quitt in said
neighborhood.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A hosoital zone is hereby described and set out
surrounding St Mary' s Hospital, and is more particularly described,
as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of Walnut Street and Dunklin
AVenue, thence in a northerly direction to the intersection of Walnut
Street and Miller STreet, thencei:in a westerly direction to the inter-
section of Miller Street and Bolivar Street, thence in a southerly
direction to the intersection to Bolivar Street, Elm Street and St.
