AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2012 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2012 on September 29th, 2011 with Ordinance 47-2011; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major
budget classification to another within a department or office, and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-I
et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2012 budget be amended as follows:
A. General Fund — Mayor
Delete $300.00 from Promotional
Account number 101.01.001.110.000.3980
2. Add $300.00 to Vehicle Operation and Maintenance
Account number 101.01.001. 110.000.2210
Passed and adopted this 5_ day of 2012, by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana.
