AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FINAL PROJECT DESIGN FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET FERRY TERMINAL
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret ( "Borough ") has previously solicited bids for the
final project design for the construction of the Borough of Carteret Ferry Terminal; and
WHEREAS, on December 21, 2021, the Borough received one (1) bid proposal for said
professional services from T & M Associates; and
WHEREAS, the designated review committee for said bid has fully and favorably
reviewed and ranked the sole bid submitted by T &M Associates and the Governing Body
has recommended that the Borough award a contract to T &M for said professional
engineering design services in conformance with the bid specifications and T &M's
submission with regard to the same.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret as follows:
1. That the above - referenced bid proposal from T &M Associates is hereby
accepted and the appropriate Borough Officials, including the Borough's
Law Director, are hereby authorized to negotiate and enter into a contract
with T &M Associates, and take any necessary actions to implement and
effectuate the same, at a cost not to exceed $399.000, in accordance in all
respects with the request for bid proposals and bid on same.
