HomeMy Public PortalAboutGAC Minutes 1999 12/08GOLF COURSE ADVISORY COMMITTEE MINUTES December 8th, 1999 Attending: Max Williamson Dan Pillard Todd McKenna Jeff Goodman Dan McKim Mary Clemmer Minutes: The following changes were made to the minutes of the October 13th meeting: 10 current pass holders were changed to current pass holders. Motion made and Todd McKenna seconded. Motion carried to make these changes and approved the minutes of the October 13t & November 10t meetings. New Business: Committee discussed possible candidates for committee member replacement. The committee recognizes these possible replacements: Greg McKim. Wes Rhodes Mark Rhodes Hal Sager The committee also recommends the city council place an ad in the newspaper. The committee reviewed expenses, revenues and considered factors such as inflation; the desire to continue to improve course conditioning and keeping fee increases to a minimum. Motion was made and passed unanimously to establish the following fee structure: 18 holes Fri — Sun, $28 18 holes Mon — Th, $24 18 holes after 2pm, Sun - Th, $18 9 holes Mon — Th $13 9 holes Fri — Sun $15 9 holes, after 5pm, Sun — Th, $9 Season Passes - $415 Old Business: No Report Staff Reports: Dan Pillard reported that 6,000 feet of 6" drain pipe was successfully installed in the current location of the ditches, paralleling the fairways on 1, 9, 18. These lines will serve as a transport of water from the fairways. Dan also reported that the clubhouse paint project was completed successfully. Mary Clemmer reported that revenues for 1999 were $207,107.47, which was an increase of $ 21,123.33 over the same period last year, for the calendar year. On a fiscal year basis, the revenue was $204,859.10, which was an increase of $21,117.93 over last year. Next meeting will be on February 9t, 2000, at 5pm, at the clubhouse. The January meeting was canceled. 2/9
