Those voters desiring to vote against the extension of the city limits
as herein provided shall put an "X" in the box opposite the word "NO"
on said ballot, anC, those voters desiring to cast their ballot in favor
of the extension of the city limits as is hereirl. provided shall place
an "X" in the box opposite the word "YES". on said ballot.
Section 3, ,.he city Clerk of the Ginty of Jefferson is hereby
authorized, and directed to insert a notice in the Post Tribune, a
daily newspaper published in the City of Jefferson, at least fifteen
days prior to August 4, giving notice to the electorate of the city
of the calling of said speci=al election and advising the electorate of the
proposition on which they ate to vote.
Section 4. ..his ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and approval.
