TAX CANCELLATION
Date of Adoptio December 30, 2021
WHEREAS, Block 7505, Lot 3 was approved a PILOT Financial Agreement consistent
with the Borough of Carteret Redevelopment and Housing Law, and
WHEREAS, the Financial Agreement (Section 4.03 Annual Service Charge) sets forth
the annual PILOT payments to be made, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor has requested that the taxes previously assessed onto this
property for the 2021 tax year be removed due to the existing PILOT Financial
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Borough of Carteret,
County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the Tax Collector cancel taxes in the amount of
$21,046.49 and issue a refund for the excess taxes paid in the amount of $27,844.48.

and certified as alrue copy of the
