WHEREAS., it was heretofore found and declared by the City Cpuncil,, by its resolution, passed and approved on January 4th, 1943, necessary to curb and pave with cement concrete material, tk:e roadway of Dunklin Streeto between the curb lines from the center of the intersection of Dunklin Street and the east curb line of Houshin Street to the west end of the pavement now in place. And it appearingo to the City Council that sied resolution has been duly passed abd publishe according to the law for seven (7) consecutive insertions in the . Jefferson City-Post Tribune, a daily bewsppper., printed and published in the City of Jefferson,, Missourip And after hearing those who de- sire to be heard on the matter concerning the paving of said street and after finding that said Dunklin Street finm the east curb line of Houchin Street east to the west end of the pavement now in place is less than 1200 feet in length and is between and connecting two paved streets, the city 'ouncil of Jefferson City, Missouri, still finds the improvement necessary to be done. SECTION 2. That tile said roadway of Dunklin Street, between the curb lines from the center of tile intersection of Dunk . in Street and the east curb line of Fouchin Street east to the west end of the pave- ment now in place., be graded, curbed ar,d paved with cement concrete material in accordance with the plans and specifications submitted by the City Engineer and filed in the Office of the City Clerk and that the total cost of thv.* work aforesaid shall be charged and levied as a special assessmnet against the real estate abuttigg and frontigg on said contemplated improvement and special tax bills shall be issued therefor, as provided in the City Charter and in Section 6989 Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri., 1939, and amendments thereto. hat the cost of the curb shall be assessed only against the property in front of thich tile same is constructed.
