There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate End cost price per square foot as specified ' in Section 2 of this ordinance against the lots 'Qr tracts ' of land fronting or abutting on Marshall Street, between High Street and East Capitol Avenue, in the ity of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement by construc- tion of"a ceaent}t.: concrete sidewalk, the sum of $105.42 as the total cost of the improvement of said side%:,alk and the total number of square feet of sidewalk abutting said n bove mentioned street amounts to 502 and the cost per square foot is $0.21. SECTION 2. for the purpose of paying for said improvement by the construction of a cement concrete sidewilk on Marshall Street, be- tween High Street and Fast Capitol "venue, there is levied and x assessed the sum of $0.21 as a special tax against each square foot of sidewalk abutting said above mentioned street between the afore- said streets. SECTION 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the des- cription of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on I4arshal2 Street, between High Street and East Capitol Avenue, and the number of square feet of sidewalk assessable to the abutting property and the description of assessable property owned by the abutting property owner or owners, and the cost price per square foot for said improvement and 'the amoiunt hereby' levied and assessed as a special tax for said imprcve°:crt cdcinst each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting the aforesaid street is as follows: George W. Pifer and Marie rifer owners of a part of Inlots 370, and described as: Beginning at the southeasterly corner of said Inlot; thence northerly along the easterly line, 120 feet, thence westerly parallel to the southerly line, 69 feet 4 1 inches; thence southerly parallel to the easterly line, 20 feet; thence easterly parallel to the southerly line 29 feet 4 z inches;thence southerly parallel to the ea terly line 100 feet; thence easteziy 40 feet to the point of beginning. 502 Square feet cement concrete sidewalk @ $0.21 $105.42 SECTION 4. That the City 'lerk is hereby instructed to make out a special tax bill in favor of the contractor Louis Brunner for the withiin mentioned work in accordance with tiie Ordinancea of the City of Jefferson, Missouri;, relative to the said kind of work and in accordance with the charter og said City in regard to said work.
