AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 4635 and to amend "hapter 3 of
the Revised ordinances of the "ity of Jefferson, Missouri, - 1941,
relating to the compensation to be paid the Street Laborers.
HE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF �EFP'ERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Urdinance No. 4635 relating to the com-
pensation to be paid the street laborers be and the s=me is here-
by repealed and chapter 3 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of
Jefferson, 1941, is hereby amended by adding a sew section thereto
relating to the compensation to be paid the street laborers, to be
known as Section 335A and to read as follows:
Section 335A - All street laborers shall receive fifty-
five (55¢) per hour dor the time actually employed and shall be
paid therefor at the end of each week, by and through the Street
Uommissioner, whose duty it shall be to keep accurate account of
all labor and report the same at each regular meeting of the `'ity
Council.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
