AN ORDI1,11ANCE to amend Ordinance Plumber 4633,, approved October 7.,
1943, being "An Ordinance to amend Chapter 10., of the Revised
Ordinances of the ity of Jefferson, 1941, relating to license
and regulatkn of m9nufacturers anr", merchants, by adding thereto
twelve new sections to be known as sections 565A,, 56513., 5650., 565D.,
565E., 565F ,, 565Gt 565H., 5651, 565J9 565K., and 56;L., relating to the
permits for an occupation license for Retail Sale of t4garetteb
and providing for the method of payment hiriereof and providing means
and methods for the administration and enforcement thereof," by
'enacting and addi g thereto a new section relating to the same
subject matter, to be knpwn as Section 5651.4
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY Or' JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS
Section 1. Ordinance number 4633, approved October 7,, 1943,
is hereby amended by enacting and adding thereto a new section to be
known as Section 565M to read as follows:
Section 565M. The affixing of stamps., as provided for in this
ordinance, shall also include the affixing of tax meter stamps upon
packages of cigarettes. The "ity `collector shall adopt voles and re-
gulations relating to the imprintting of such tax meter 'stamps as
will result in payment of the proper tax as herein imposed.
Section 2. This ordil--ance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

AN ORDINANCE to repeal Section 334, Chapter 3, Revised Ordinances of
the I-1itY of Jefferson , Missouri,, 1941, relating to the salary of the
elective officers and to enact a new section in lieu thereof and re-
f lating to t e same subject mxkk= to be known as Section 334.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, VISSOURIO
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 334., Chapter 3, Revised Ordinances
of the ity of Jefferson" Idissouri, 1941, relating to the salary of
electivS officers, be and the same is hereby repealed and a new
section is enacted in lieu thereof., relating to the same subject., to be
known as Section 334, and to read as follows:
Section 334. The salary of the elective officers of the l'ity
of Jefferson shall be as follows:
a. 'lie Mayor shall receive the surn of twelve hundred dollars
per annum as salaryt
b. The luarshal shall receive twenty-four hundred dollars per
annum as salary.
c. The ity Attorney shall receive twenty-one hundred dollars
per annum as sala:kry,
