BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI`CY C012NCIL OF THE CITY OF J^F'FERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Chapter 3, Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1941, is hereby amended by adding t.ie.reto a new section, relating -to the expensesxf of the City "arshal for the use of his automobile on city business to be known as Section 334a and to read as follows; SECTION 334a. The Uuty Warshal shall receive twenty--five dollars per month for the use of his private automobile on City business. SECTION 2. Uwens President of the Council L4ayor #4674 AN ORDINANCE to amend Chapter 4 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, raissouri, 1941, by amending Section 370 thereof to provide for an Airport Committee and to add a new section to be known as Section 376-A prescribing the duties of the Airport Committee. BE IT ORDAINED RY THE CITY COUPICIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON. MISSOURI) AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That section 370 of the Revised Urdinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 1941, be and the same is hereby amended to provide for an additional committee to be known as the Airport Committee and a new section is hr,reby enacted prescribing the duties of the Airport Committee, to be known as Section 376-A so that Section 370 and Section 376-A shall read as follovrs: SECTIOr'_ 370 -'.E �'r OF COMMITTEES . At the first meeting of the Uity Council held after the city election of each year, it shall be the duty of the m^yor, by and with the concurrance of the council, to appoint w,.von ctandi nor cou:irittces of the council as follows; 283 First. A committee of throo on finance. Second. A committee of five on streets, alleys, sidewalks and sewerage. Third. A committee of five on water, gas and electric lights. Fourth. A committee of three on public buildings, F_,rounds and city property. Fifth. A committee of three on claims., accounts and city officers. 6ixth. A committee of three on ordinances and printing. Seventh. A committee of eight on airports to consist of one member of the City Council from each of the five wards of the Gity and the Mayor, ity Engineer and City attorney. The committee on streets, alleys, sidewalks and sewerage,, the committee on water, gas and electric lights., shall each be composed of one member of the city council from each of the five wards of the City. Section X76—A- "irp2Lt .Committee—ITS DUTI'PIS. The duties of the Airport Committee are hereby defined and declared to be as follows: First. To take into (nisiderption all such communicPtions., resolutions and propositions con- cerning the airport as may be referred to it by the councl.l., and to make rep!�rt thereon to the mayor and council when so required. Second. To exercose a general supervision over the airport, make examination of tk same from time to time I ., report to the council on its actual condition and submit such recommendations or suggestions res- pecting improvei.iont or repairs as in their Judgment may be necessary. Third. To see that all contracts for the construction or repair of any hildings, fences or roadway are properly executed and faithfully complied with. "ourth. To examine and audit all accounts for work done or material used in the construction . im- provement or repair of the airport or any improvemeent thereon and present the same properly approved, to the council for payment. Fifth. To consider and amke recommendations to the council respectinf the management and operation of the airport. the employment of operating personnel and the granting of leases or arrangements for con- cessions and operating rights upon the airport or adjacent land.
