AN ORDINANCE to repeal Section 546 of Chapter 1X, Revised Ordinances
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, 19410 relating to the residence
of an applicant applying for license authorizing the sale of intoxi-
cating liquor or retailed for consumption on premises, and to enact
a new section in lieu thereof and relating to the same subject.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWSs
SECTION 1. That Section 546 of Chapter 1X0 Revised Ordinances
of the Uity of Jefferson, Missouri, 1941, relating to the residence
of an applicant applying for license authorizing the sale of intoxi-
cating liquor or retailed for consumption on premises, be and the
same is hereby repealed and a new section is enacted in lieu thereof
relating to the same subject.
SECTION 2. No license authorizing the sale of intoxicating
liquor or retailed for consumption on the premises where sold shall
be issued unless the perst:.n, co-partner hip, or corporation, apply-
i ng for said license shall have been a resident, tax-paying citizen
of the vity of Jefferson, Missouri, for two months immediately
preceeding the date of said application.
Section 3. All ordinances, or parts of ordinances, in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
