AN ORDINANCE providing for the rezoning And redistricting of, and
changing and redistricting said desceitaed property to a business
district the territory consisting of certain real estate loc:keted
east of "Iefferson Street and north of Athcison Street, being the
northeast corner of Atchison and Jefferson Streets, facing west on
Jefferson Street, a part of which property is now zoned fox com-
mercial purposes under a district designated as District
WHEREAS, said petition was filed with the Clerk of the City
of Jefferson on the 29th day of October, 10450 praying to amend,
change, reclassify and remodify the boundaries of the zoning ord-
inance of the ity of Jefferson, Missouri, and requesting a re-
zoriing of the trrritory consisting of certain real estate located eas
of Jefferson Streeta and north of Atchison Street, being the north
east corner of Atchison and Jefferson Streets, and that a rezoning
be had of same and said immediate territory in said vicinity as
may be deemed advisable and for the best interests of the public,
and
WHEREAS, a notice of the filing of said petition was published
n the Jefferson City Post-Tribune on the following dates, to wit:
ctober 29,30, and 31, and November 1,2, 5,6,7,8,9„2,13,14,15 and
16; said notice stating that all interested parties Are hereby norified
that the ity council of said pity of Jefferson, Missouri, will consider
said change said chang$n at its first regular meeting after due
publication has been made and that public hearings will be held, and
VIHEREAS, no protests were made to the k'ity 0ouncil of the
City of Jefferson at its regular meeting as regards rezoning said
territory for a business district..
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Hereafter the following described lots and par-
cels of land may be used and occupied, built on, and buildings con-
structed thereon for public purposes, and shall be classified as
an "F" business district, as is now provided in the zoning ordinance
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and said land is more particularly
described as follows, to wit:
The territory consisting of certain real estate
located east of Jefferson Street, and north of
Atdhi-son Street, being the northeast corner of
Atchison and Jefferson Streets facing west on
:Jefferson Street, a part of which property is now
zoned for commercial purposes and a part of which
is zoned under a district designated as District "B".
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of o.rdinances. in con-
flict hi�thwith ere hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be come effective upon
its passage and approval,
