AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
A SPECIAL NON - REVERTING OPERATING FUND FOR
THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, under
Indiana Code 16- 10 -4 -16 is empowered to create a special non- reverting operating
funds for the purpose of conducting specific programs.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle, Indiana, as follows:
Section 1. There is hereby established a special non - reverting operating fund
created for the purpose of management and maintenance associated with conducting <
youth basketball program.
Section 2. There is hereby established a special non - reverting operating fund
created for the purpose of management and maintenance associated with conducting
softball programs.
Section 3. The non - reverting operating funds shall be created and funded from
monies and fees procured from operating or conducting said softball and basketball
programs.
Section 4. Expenditures shall be made from the special non - reverting operating
funds upon claims allowed and signed by the President and Secretary of the Park Board
Commissioners of the City of Greencastle, Indiana.
Section 5. Expenditures from the special non - reverting operating fund for the
youth basketball program shall be limited and restricted to the enhancement of the youth
basketball program.
Section 6. The Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage as approved by law. --��//
