AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 4690 RELATING TO COMPENSATION
PAID TO STREET LABOR 1,2,S AP(D ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW ORDINANCE
PERTAINING TO THE SAME SUBJECT .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C0U1IC IL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 4690 relating to the compensation
paid to street laborers be and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. All street laborers shall receive sixty-five cents
(65¢) per hour for the time actually employed and shall be paid there-
f•. r at the end of each week by and through the Street Commissioner
whose duty it shall be to l:eep accurate account of all labor and
report the sauce at each regular meeting of the �'ity Council.
SECTION 3. Said street laborers shall receive said sixty-five
cents (651 ) per hour starting as of April 1, 1946.
SECTION 4. All ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

A N ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE WARRANTY DEED FROM GUS WOLFF CONVEYING
certain lots to 1-,ile City of Jefferson, Missouri, as hereinafter
described.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
IffSSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. What the Warranty deed from Uus Wolff to the
City of `'efferson, t"issouri, conveying to said city the following
describel real estate, to-wit:
Lots 1,2,3,4 and 5 in ,lock 3 and all of Block No, 4
of Wolff' s subdivision of the part of the North half
of the Northeast quarter of Section 122 ownship 44,

be and is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. this ordinance shall take effect and be in
