AN ORDINXNCE PROVIDING FOR THE RE-ZONING AND REDISTRICTING AND
CHANGING AND REDISTRICTING THE PROPERTY HERXIN DESCRIFED TO
A DISTRICT "G", SAID TERRITORY FFING RE- ZONED CONSISTING OF
CERTAIN REAL ESTATE LYING, BEING AND SITUATE IN JEFFERSON CITY,
COLE COUNTY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT: THE SOUTHERLY PART OF
INLOTS 676 AND 6?7, BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHEESTERLY CORNER OF
INLOT 676, THENCE NORTHERLY ALONG THE WESTERLY LINE IDEEREOF 98
FEET INCHES, THENCE EASTERLY PARALLEL WITH THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF
SAID MOTS TO THE EASTERLY LINE OF INLOT 677, THENCE SOUTHERLY
ALONG SAID EASTERLY LINE 98 FEET 9 INCHES TO THE SOUTHEASTERLY
CORNER OF INLOT 677 THENCE WES`j1RLY ALONG THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF
INLOTS 677 and 676 �O THE POINT OF EEGINNING.
WHEREAS, the �'ity `council at its recessed meeting on
)Parch 25, 1946, ordered publication to be made and hearings
to be held for the purpose of amending, changing, reclassifying,
and modifying the boundaries of the zoning ordinance of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, No. 3510, and requested a re--zoning of
certain real estate lying, being and situate in Jefferson City,
Cole `'ounty, Missouri, as follows, to-wit:
The southerly part of Inlots 676 and 677, beginning
at the southwesterly corner of Inlot 676, thence
northerly along the westerly line tiiereof 98 feet
9 inches, thence easterly parallel with the southerly
line of said Inlots to the easterly line of Inlot 677,
thence southerly along said easterly line 98 feet 9
inches to the southeasterly corner of Inlot 677, thence
westerly along the southerly line of inlots 677 and 676
to the point of beginning.
and that a re-zoning be had of same and the immediate territory
within said vicinity as may be deemed advisable and to the best
interests of the public, and,
WHEREAS, a notice was published in the Jefferson City Capital
News on the following dates, to-wit: April 3,4, 5,E,add 7, 1946;
said notice stating that all interested parties are hereby notified
that the said Council of the City of Jeffe son, Missouri will
consider said change at its meeting on April 8, 1946, after due
publication has been made and that public hearings will be head
on said date and that sucL further and other public hearings will
be held as may be at this time or hereafter demanded by all interested
parties.
BE IT ORDAINED PY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
rISSOITRI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Hereafter the following described lots and parcels
of land aid real estate may be used and occupied, built on and
buildings constructed thereon for public purposes, and shall be
classified as a "G" district as is now provided in the zoning
ordinance of the �,ity of Jefferson, Missouri, and said land is
more particularly described as certain real estate lying, being
and situate in Jefferson City, Cole county, 1., ssouri, as follows,
to-wit: The southerly part of Inlots 676 and 677, beginning at the
southwesterly corner of Inlot 676, thence northerly along the
westerly line t ereof 98 feet 9 inches, thence easterly parallel
with the southerly line of said Inlots to the easterly line of
Inlot 677, thence southerly along said easterly line 98 feet 9
inches to the southeasterly corner of Inlot 677, thence westerly
along the southerly line of jnlbts 6?7 and 676 to the point of beginning.
Section 2. `+11 ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict ...j .,b2t0w'i thsaret:hereby-repealed.
Section 3, This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after itspassage and approval.
