AN ORDINAN CE PROVIDING FORT THE LEVY OF CITY. TAXES AND ESTABLISHING ThE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWSs
SECTION 1. That then is hereby levied and ass4ssed the follow-
ing rate on all real estate and personal property within the limits
of the vity of Jefferson, Eissouri, riot exempt from taxation by the
constitfttion or the laws of the State of Missouri, as shown by the
assessment book of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the year 1945:
and on all Mercha is and Manufacturers statements, made as provided by
law.
First,- Nor the purpose of paying all current expenses of the
City of Jefferson Missouri for the fiscal year, the sum of ,_ 60___a
cents on the one tundred dollar valuation.
Second.- V'or the purpose of paying interest on the outstanding
bonds of the ity of Jefferson, Missouri, and for the purpose of
creating a sifiking fund to retire the outstanding bonds of the Oity
of Jefferson, Missouri, the sum of _2 cents on the one hundred
dollar valuation,
Third,- t*or the,.purpose of establishing and maintaining a free
public library in the ity of Jefferson, Missouri, the sum of 10
cents on the one hundred dollar valuation,
SECTIC:N 2. It shall be the duty of the City Clerk to cause to be
extended in the appropriate column's opposite each item of taxable
property on the assessment book, as returned by the Assessor of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, and corrected by the County Board of
Equalization, the amount of taxes required to be paid by each person
as provided by Section 1 of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. All Ordinances or . arts of Ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. 'his Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
froma and after its passage and approval,

AN ORDINKNCE ESTABLISHING SEWER DISTRICT NO. 68, WITHIN THE CITY OF
JEFF..iRSON, MISSOURI, AND D F-1-NING THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF.
BE IT ORDK NED BY THIL CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
D4iss ouri, hereby declares and ordaines that it deems it necessary
for sanitary purposes and for the health of its inhabitants of the
city to establish a sower District to be known as Sewer District No.
68, and said district to be established with location aid boundaries
as follows: Beginning at the southwesterly corner of Inlot 775; thence
