The lessor reserves- the right to enter at any time said
lessor sees fit upon the above described premises to do any and
all construction work as regards the building of an airport and
to occupy any and all of the bbove described premises as an air-
port. Fowever, said lessee is entitled to receive any and all
damages caused by said lessor occupying and doing construction
work on amy or all of the above described premises, said damages
to be determined by a Board of Aribitrati.on, said Board to con-
sist of one man chosen by the lessor, and one man to be chosen
by the lessee. The decision of the two members of said Arbitra-
tion Board shall be final and binding on all parties concerned
hereto, however, in the event said two parties of said Arbitration
Board are unable to agree upon the amount of said damages, then,
in that event, said two parties shall select a third party, and
the decision of said three members of said Board of Arbitration
shall be binding upon all parties concerned. However, in no
event shall said Board of Arbitration allow .to said lessee more
than $30.00 per acre as compensation for damages for the land
that said lessor may desire to accupy and do construction work on
with the exception that said #30.00 damage per- acre limit shall
not be in force and effect during the period of time during a
sixth day period immediately before the cutting of said small
grain and during said period whatever amount said Arbitration
Board may award as damages shall .be binding on both parties.
Said lessee agrees to sow wheat, oats of other !small grains
on the above described premises and harvest said crops on or before
Augusts, 1947.
It is mutually agreed by the parties hereto that said les-
see under no circumstances shall have the right or privelege of
subletting or leasing any or all of the above described land for any
purpose whatsoever unless said lessee secures the written per-
mission to do so from said lessor.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Chief of the Fire Department of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, shall receive as salary Two Hundred and
nine Dollars ($209.00) per month, said salary to start as of July 1,
1946.

of the ity of Jefferson, Missouri, shall receive as salary One
Hundred"Seventy Six Dollars ($176.00) per month, said salary .to
start as of July 11 1946.
Section 5. That each of the Assistant `�ireman of the Fire
Department of the "ity of Jefferson, MIssouri9 shall receive as
salary One Hundred Sixty rive Dollars ($165.00) per month, said
