authorizing and directing the Cit7T Attorney to by•ing a condemnation
suit to acquire certain lands in the .ity of Jefferson for, sewer pur-
poses.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY- COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JE?FERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLO17S:
Section 1. The City douricil of the "ity of Jei'ferson, finds
that it is 'reasonably necessary for the public good to build a new
sewer in Sewer A"istrict No. 69 and that said district will be bene-
fited by the acquisition of certain right of way for sewer purposes
as hereinafter set out.
Section 2. he ity Attorney is hereby authorized m d directed
to institute immedlatei, I
.T in the ircuit nourt of Cole County,
M-ssouri, a condemnation suit against Louis Beck and his wife and
W. -h. 3eck and his wife., and said attorney is authorized to condemn said
parties' interests, whatever same may be, in thefollowing described
land lying, being situate in Jefferson City, `Oole county, Missouri,
to-wit: 4.
A part of the Eortr,mest wuarter of Section 12, 'lownship 44,
Range 12, being a strip of land six (6) feet wide, the center
line of same being more particularly described as follows:
beginning at a point that is 1180 feet East of thw West line
of said quarter section and 330 feet south of the south line of
U.S. Highway No. 50; thence South 75 degrees (Magnetic ) West
606 feet.
Also :
A part of the Northwest quarter of Section 12, 4-owns:-)ip 44,
Range 12, being a strip of land six (6) feet wide, the center
line of same being :core par-ticularly described as follows:
beginning at a point on the hest line of said quarter section,
572 feet North of the Southwest corner thoreof; thence north
.B4 degrees arc 15 minutes East (14agnetic) 240 feet; thence
outh 77 degrees and 30 minutes East, 209 feet; thence 14 rth
75 degrees Eaat, 164 feet.
shall proceed to acquire the ri,,-,,ht of wa7r as above described to be
used as a right of way uh said Sewer district for sewer purposes by
condemnation fvum the said owners of said land.
Section 3. `his ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and approval.
