Section 2. Said License Inspecoor Is duties shall be that he

photogbaphers and picture solicitors, shoe cobblers, peddlers, buck-
s ters, walkathons , pi.n ball machines and music boxes are properly
enforced as well as any and all other licneses that may be required
by the city c7f' Jefferson to be"taken out by any person, firm or, corpora-
tion within the limits of the ity cf Jefferson; said Inspector shall
have full authority to mmke arf, sta for the violation of amy of the a
above mentioned oridnances and he shall take the suual oath a<,s a
reguoar police officer and shall posses the same powers as a police
officer.
Section S. Said Inspector shall be appointed by the Mayor, by
and with the consent and advice of the arnjority of the members elected
to the city Council and shall hold his office for a term of two ,years
and until his successor shall be d>>ly a�)pointed and qualified unless s
sooner removed for good cause in the Tanner provided by the ordinances
of the city of Jefferson, i,,:issouri for the renoval of ity Officers.
He shall receive as c:;mpensation for his services One M Hundred Twenty-
five ollars 6125. ) per month. He shall take the usual oath required
of city Ufficials. He shall also give ro nd to the satisfaction fo the
Mayor in the sum of five Thousand Lollars ("Y ,OCC. ) for the faithful
performances of the duties of h$s office. He will account for an4
pay all monies and will turn over all books, oa )ers, and r ecords
coming* into his hands by virtue of his offl&e to said City Collector.
Section 4. All ordi ances of parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5. this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

OFFICIALS OF THE: CITY OF JEFFERSU., MISSOURI.
BE IT ORDAIIiED 3Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF JEYFERSOi- , L'ISSOURI
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. (a) The Mwor shall receive t=:e su of `150.00 per
month as salary plus t:, e soma of ,jr50.00 per month for stenographic hire
office and incidental expenses.
(b) The Lity Marshall, sometimes referred to as
hief of Police, shall receive r.250.00 per month as salary.
(c ) he vity Attorney shall receive J200.00 per
month as salary, plus $50.00 Oer month for stenograahis hire, office
and incidental expenses.
(d) The Police Judge shall receive $150.00 per
month as salary.
(e ) T110 `pity Treasurer shall receive y�75.00 per
month as salary.
