AS FOLLOWS:
SECTIO:,' 1. '- hat the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
>`issouri ., hereby declares that it deems it necessary for the health
and comfort of the inhabitants of the City, and for sanitary and other
urDoses that there must be constructed as soon as possible in Sewer
istrict No. 70, as established. by Ordinance a sanktary sewer, and it
is ordered that the same be made and constructed without unnecessary
delay and that the said district sewer be connected with and into
the present sewer main at Station 32 plus 70 on the Last "ain Sewer.
SECTION 2. That said sewer shall begin at Station 32 plus 70
on the East Hain Sewer; thence north parallel with Gordon Street,
123. 5 feet; thence west along the center line of Elm Street, 1456.5
feet. AD..so beginning at a 'point 7. 5 feet east of the west line of
Outlot No. .64 and in the center of Elm Street; thence north parallel
with the west line of said Outlot, 275 feet, also beginning; at a point
415 feet east of thvi west line ofd 471 feet south of the north line
of Outlet 63 in the center of Llm Street; thence north parallel to the
west line of said Outlot., 271 feet. Also beginning at the center line
of i"enton street and X1m Street; thence south along the center line of
Benton Street, 325 feet. lso beginn ;ng at the center line of Benton
Street and Elm Street; thefice north along the center line of Benton
Street., 275 feet. Also be��. nning at a point 415 feet east of the East
line of Benton Street and 200 feet south of the so,ith line of Miller
Street; thence east parallel to Miller Street 80 feet.
SECTIOU; 3. Said sewer shall be constructed in all respects
as provided by Ordinance., and shall be constructed of-.-staiadard-:glAzed
and-.�,cast iron sewer piper, shall be constructed according to the plans
and specifications of the City 'nFineer.
SECTIO17, 4. All Ordinm ces or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. This Ordin=e shall take effect and be in force
from and after Its lassage and approval.

AN ORDIVANCE providing for the vacating of the alley running east and
west in 'lock 12, Lower Jefferson Addition., from the eaaterly line of
Brooks Street to the Missouri Pacific Railroad right-of-way,• and for
the vacating of that part of the alley running north and south in said
Block 12 for a distance of 95.15 feet northerly from the south line
of lots 4 and 5 of said "..,lock 12, all in Lewer Jefferson Addition,
also known as Crandall 's' Addition to the city of Jefferson., 1viissovri .

of Jefferson, Missot:ri, by Edward J . -odeman, whc is the owner of all
the property fronting C, on the alley running east and west in the west
half of `'lock 1 :
. and who is also the owner of 118. 0 feet on tne west
side of then alley running northerly and southerly,, and who is also
the owner of 95.15 feet on the easterly side of said alley in 'lock 12,
Lower Jefferson Addition., and also known as Crandall 's Addition to the
City of Jefferson, asking that said alley be vacated and asking that
the City council vacate the same.
