BE IT ORLAI"ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, missOuRi.. AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Weighmaster of the city of Jefferson, Missouri, shall receive Ore Hundred ifteen -Dollar; ( `•115.00) per month as salary for his services to said city, said salary to start as of Sptember lst, 1947. Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Ells "ity Clerk #4966 AN ORDINANCE levying and assessing a special tax against each lot or piece of ground lying between and situate within the bounds of Sewer District No. 70 in the ity of Jefferson, Missouri , in the meme of the owner or owners thereof for constructing an d completing sewers therein. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. It appearing from the written report of the City Engineer, the officer in charge of the work of construction and completing sewers, in Sewer District No. 70, in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, heretofore submitted by said officer to the City Council and approved and filed by it on this 8th day of September, 1947, at a regular meeting of the City Council held on this date, that the total cost of construction and completing of said sewer as constructed, amounts to the sum of $8850.80 J. and it further appearing that said report of said officer did apportion said costs agr-Anst the several lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 70, exclusive of streets in proportion to the area of the whole of said J-1strict No. 70 exclusive of the public highways, and it further appearing that the total number of square feet comiained in the aggre ate number of lots and pieces of ground situated in the said Sewer gistrict No. 70, exclusive of the public highways therein amounts to 528 ,960square feet. nd It further appearing fm m the ' said report that on proper apportionment of said costs such lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer "'istrict Nlo. 70 so situated,, each square foot of ground contained in said lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 70 is chargeable with the sum of $0.0167324 per sqVare foot. Now., therefore, for the purpose of paying for-the work of constructinn and completion of sewers in said Sewer No. 70 together with all necessary laterals, inlets, catch asins, manholes, and other necessary ap,-)urtenances th.ereot appertaining, there is hereby levied and assessed against the several and hereinafter de- scribed lots or pieces of ground within the bounds of said Sewer District No, 70, situated in the name of the respective name of the owner or owners of said lots or pieces of ground, a special tax at the rate of $.0.0167324 per square foot for each and every square foot og ground so situated as aforesaid.
