Section 4. that the itv clerk is hereby instructed to make out
special tax bills in favor o? the contractor Brunner construction Go.
for the within mentioned work in accordance with the ordinance of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind of work and in
accordance with the Charter of said city in regard to said work.
Section 5. this ordinance shall take effect ar:d be in force
from and a fter its passage acrd approval.

Ali ORDINANCE levying and assessing a special tax bill a gain.st the lots i
or tracks of land fronting or abutting on the oradway of Cherry Street,
and Miller Street to the center i.f the intersection of Wherry Street
and Elm Streets in the city of Jefferson, Iviissouri , for the purpose of
the improvement of the said roadway by grading, curbing and guttering
and paving with asphalt macadam.
BE IT ORDAII:ED BY THE COUI-ICIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. there is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and
cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2. of this ordinance
against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting on

the roadway of herry Street, from the center of the intersection of
Sherry Street and Mil1r Street to the ,center of the intersection of
Cherry Street and Elm Street, in the Cit�r of Je1.'ferson, ;:1ssouri, for the
improvement of the roadway of herry Street aforesaid, including such
grading as may be necessary for" the reception of a cement sidewalk
the sum of $7615.40 as the total costs of the improvement of said street
and the number of front rag feet fronting; or abutting said roadway of
said Cherry Streetaforesaid, between the afoesaid streets amounts to
795 running feet; the cost prise per running foot is G. 09gi5 pluc $2.30
per jin, ft. for curb & gutter.
Section 2. ''or the purpose of paying said improvement of said
