hereby called and ordered to be held In the City of Jefferson., Cole
County, Mlissouri , on uesday the 25th day of I November,
1947, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of said
City the following propositions:
PROPOSITION NO. 1
Shall the City of Jefferson, Cole county, U-ssouri
incur an indebtedness in the amount of Two Pundred

for the purpose of constrUctinf two new bridges on
West high Street I : said ity of Jefferson, to re-
place the present bridges^on said street, and evidence
such indebtedness by the issuance of bonds of said City in

SECTIO:: 2. That the said special election shall be held in
all the wards of said City and at the polling places hereinafter
designated itn the form of ".,!OTICE OF S?7 CTAL ELECT'.OId'1 as set forth
in Section 3 thereof.
The polls at said election shall be opened at the hour of 6 mA
o ' clock A.M. Ond shall continue open until the hour of 7 o t clock
P.N. on said day.
The said special election shall be held and conducted and the
result. thereof shall be certified, canvassed and declared in all
resects in conformity �-iith the Cinstitution and Laws of the State
of Vissouri governing elections in the said City of Jefferson, arid
in accordance with the ordinances of said City.
SECTION? 3. That the City Clerk be and he Js hereby Authorized
and directed to Live notice of said special election by publication
in the Daily Capital i�er:s, a daily newspaper printed and published
in the city of Jefferson and of general circulation tl-.orein. Said
notice shall be published in said newspaper once a week for four
conecutive weeks, and onthe same day in each week. +he first publi-
cation of said notice hall. be made at :least twenty o e (21 ) days
before the date of said election and the last poblicati n. shall be
made within two 02) weeks of the date of said election. Said notice
to be so publideed, shall be in substantially the following form,

combined into one precincr or elec� ion district for the
purpose of said special election and the polling place thereof

All the election precincts in the Seoond MJard are hereby
combined into one precinct or election district for the
purpose of said special election a:id the polling place

TIIIRD VVARD:
(1 ) The polling place in Preci ct No. 1 in the Third Ward
shall be located at Weatherby ' s Posting Service, 311 Ifiulberry
Street, in said precinct and ward.
(2) �1:he polling place i:1 Precinct No. 2 in the -bird Ward
shall be located at 702 l,Vest Main Street in said grecinct
and ward.
(3) The polling place in Precinct No. 3 in the third ward
shall be located at the gorcery Store, 1824 `+Jest Main Street,

to transmit a certified copy of this ordinance to the Ooard of
Registrars of the City of Jefferson, and that said 3oard and the
members thereof be and it and they are hereby requested to proceed
with the holding of a regi-Itration of voters as in such cases requkred
by and under Article 19 of haDter 76 of the Revised Statutes of
Missouri, 1939, as amended by Laws of Missouri, 1941, -page 362.
Section 7. That all ordinances or oarts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 8. What this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage andappro,.-al.
