I. Pledge of Allegiance
II. Call to Order; Roll Call
Mayor Dory called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM; upon roll by Clerk- Treasurer Lynda
Dunbar the following were present: Stacie Langdon, Steve Fields, Mark Hammer, and Gary
Lemon. Adam Cohen and Dave Murray absent. Dave Murray arrived at 6:40 p.m.
III. Old Business
A. Ordinance 2016 -5 (Second Reading) An Ordinance Amending Ordinance 2015 -8 An
Ordinance Establishing the Size of the Departments of City Government of the City of
Greencastle, Indiana, Fixing Salaries for the Employees of such Departments and Fixing
the Salaries of Certain Other Appointed Officials for the Year. - Motion by Steve Fields to
approve Ordinance 2016 -5 (Second Reading) as presented, second by Gary Lemon, 5 -0,
motion carried.
IV. New Business
A. Internal Controls Training and Discussion- Council were provided a copy of the Uniform
Internal Control Standards for Indiana Political Subdivisions manual and a copy of the
Standards for Internal Control in the Federal Government (the "Green Book "). We then
watched the State Board of Accounts Internal Controls Webinar. Discussion was held
afterward discussing the Council's role in the City of Greencastle internal controls. No
formal action taken.
V. Adjournment:
Motion by Gary Lemon to dismiss at 8:05 PM, second by Dave urray,
6 -0, motion carried. .
