A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, EXPRESSING THE INTENTION
OF THE CITY TO TAKE FEE SIMPLE TITLE TO ALL
PROPERTY TO BE ACQUIRED IN CONNECTION WITH
THE HANDLEY-EDERVILLE ROAD WIDENING PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Richland Hills, Texas, has heretofore by
Resolution No. 99-98 declared a public necessity for the Handley-Ederville Road widening project,
and declared a public purpose to be served by the acquisition of property necessary or desirable to
complete said project; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, the City Council of the City of Richland Hills, by Resolution No.
101-98, identified additional parcels of property necessary or desirable for the accomplishment of
the public purposes to be served by the completion of the said Handley-Ederville Road prof ect; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Richland Hills, Texas, now wishes by this
Resolution to express its intention to take fee simple title to all property to be acquired in connection
with such project, as described in the exhibits attached to Resolution No. 101-98 heretofore passed
. by the Richland Hills City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richland
Hills, Texas, that the City hereby expresses its intention to take fee simple title to all parcels of
property to be acquired in connection with the Handley-Ederville Road widening project, as
described in the exhibits attached to and incorporated in Resolution No.101-98, heretofore passed
by the Richland Hills City Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall take effect immediately from and
after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Richland Hills, Texas, by
a vote of 4 ayes, 0 nays and 0 abstentions this 25~day of January , 2000.
