Street, between Main Street and the Alley-North, and abutting 211
feet on Fulkerson Street, Sidewalk to start at the North curb line on
Alain Street, be constructed and built within thirty days from the
service of a copy of this Ordinance on the Owner of the property here-
inabove described.
SECTION. 2. Within two days after the passage of this Ordinance, the
City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Marshal a certified
copy of this Ordinance, and said City Marshal shall serve or cause to
be served a copy of this Ordinance on the Owner or Owners above mention-
ed, by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners or by leaving
it with some member of his family over the age of 15 years, making his
return on another of said Ordinances, which copy shall be filed in the
office of the City Clerk.
SECTION 3. In the event the Owner or Owners above named fail. to construct
said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of Jefferson, under the
power and authority given it by its Charter and Ordinances, will construct
said sidewalk and will issue a special tax bill against said property
for the cost of the construction of said sidewalk, which said special.
tax bill will be alien against the property above described.
SECTION. 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval.

NO. 3169. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A. SIDEWALK
OF CEIMNT CONCRETE MATERIAL, FOUR FEET IN WIDTH, 2.5 FEET BACK FROM
BACK OF CURB, ON THE WEST SIDE OF FULKERSON STREET, BETWEEN MAIN STREET
AND ALLEY-NORTH, AND ABUTTING 113 FEET ON FULKERSON STREET OWNED BY
WM. I. WALES, BEING LOT I. OF A SUBDIVISION OF INLOTS IO AND 14
BE IT ORDAIIIED BY THE COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. I . That a sidewalk of cement concrete material, Four feet in
width, 2.5 feet back from back of curb, on the West side of Fulkerson
Street, between Main Street and Alley- North, and abutting 1I3 feet on
Fulkerson Street Owned by Win. I. Walls, being lot I. of a Subdivision
of Inlots 10 and I4 be constructed and built within thirty days from
the service of a copy of this Ordinance on the Owner of the property
hereinabove described.
