AS FOLLOWS:
6ECTION. I. That a sidewalk of cerent concrete i-mterin,l, four feet in
ividthl, 2.5 feet back fron back of curb, on the East side of Bolivar
Street, between lain and Water Streets, -,md abutting 146.75 feet on

M constructed and built within thirty dn.ys from the service of a copy of
this Ordinance on the owner of tfie property hereinabove described.
SECTION. 2. Viithin two days after the I)assaE,,e of this Ordinance, the
City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City Marshal a. certified
copy of this Ordinance, and said City I'larshal shall serve or cause to
be ser-red a copy of this Ordinance on the owner or m-iners, �.bove mention-
ed, by delivering a copy hereof to said owner or owners or by leaving
it with some rienber of his family over the age of 15 years, making his
return on another copy of said Ordinance, which copy shall be filed in
the office of the City Clerk.
SECTION. 3. I_%T the event the owner or own(--:rs above named fail to
construct said sidewalk as above directed, then the City of Jefferson
under the power and authority given it by its charter and Ordinances
will construct said sidewalk and will issue a special tax bill a E,- inst
said property for the cost of the construction of said sidewalk,
,,-7hich said special tax bill will be a lien against the property above
described.
SECTION. 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
a,id after its passafre and approval.
