SECTION. I . That a. side,,;a.lk of cement concrete na.teria.l, four feet
in width, - - - f-, (-,t back from bacl. of curb, on the Nest side of
l,:onroe street , between Atchison Land Franklin Streets, and abutting
5C feet on 1'onroe Stre.c t, ovined by Ch.a.s. Spencer, being, lot 26 of
Hutchinson Subdivision_ of Cutlots 6-7-2 . be constructed and built
within thirty days from the service of a, copy of this Crdinance on
the owner of the property hereinabove described.
SECTION. 2. 1r1ithin two days after the passage of this Ordinance,
the City Clerk shall place in the hands of the City I::arshal a
cdrtified copy of t1--,is Crdinance, and said City I,.arshal shall serve
or cause to be served a, copy of ti•lis Crdinance on the owiler or
owners above mentioned, by delivering a cony htare•of to said owner or
owners or by leaving it v-;ith some member of his far.iily over the age
of 15 years, rnakin,g his return on anothec copy of said Crdinance,
which coppy shall be filed in the office of the City Cle4rk .
SECTION. 3. In the event the owner or owners above named fELil to
construct said sidevia,lk as above directed, then the City of Jeffcrs'on,
under the pov-ie^r and authority f.;iven it by its charter and Ordinances,
will construct said sidelralk and will issue a special tax bill.

property above described.
SECTICIt. 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and lie in force from
